Agent chat
Chat opens a panel beside the review where you talk to your agent. Ask why it flagged something, or what a piece of code you selected does.
Talking to the agent
Section titled “Talking to the agent”Type in Ask about this review and press Enter. Shift+Enter starts a new line. If your agent isn’t online, Flight Plan asks you to start it, and the agent answers once it is.
To ask about something specific, select it and choose Ask Claude (named after your agent). This works on code and on any other text in the review, such as a waypoint, a finding, a Trace Diagram card or a segment’s context. What you selected appears above the message box and stays on the message you send. Flight Plan tells the agent where it sits in the review. Code links in the agent’s answers open the code they point at.
The panel’s header shows whether the agent is online: Agent online or Agent offline. When the agent offers more than one model, you can switch from the panel. The next terminal Flight Plan opens starts the agent with it.
With Codex or Cursor, start your agent yourself in your own session. The panel shows Agent online while it waits for your messages.
Questions from the agent
Section titled “Questions from the agent”The agent can ask you one question or several at once. They appear in the chat with options to pick from, and you can always write your own answer.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”Your agent asks for permission in its own terminal, the way it always does. Flight Plan’s own tools and the command it listens with are already allowed when Flight Plan opens the terminal.
