Change Overview

The Change Overview sits at the end of the Context. It shows every block of code the segment adds, modifies or deletes, so you can spot the new server action, the schema change or the validation rule before you open a file. Flight Plan builds it from the code, with no agent.

Each row is one changed file, with its icon, its name and its folder. Beside them is one label per changed block of code in the file. A label says what the change did to the block and what kind of code it is, such as Added Component, Modified API route or Deleted Logic, followed by the block’s name. It’s coloured by the change: green for added, blue for modified and red for deleted.

The files follow your spotlight. Files with a label in one of your spotlight topics come first, in the order of the topics. With Page and Component in your spotlight, a file with a Page comes before a file with only a Component. Inside a file, the labels in your spotlight come first too. The other files come after them, and files of the same rank keep the order of the Code Walkthrough.

The first 15 files show. When there are more, a button under the rows shows the rest, such as Show 3 more files, and Show fewer files hides them again.

Other changed files closes the overview on one line. It lists the files with no label: a file whose change touches only imports or directives, and every file in one of the other languages, such as YAML, JSON or Markdown. A segment that changes no file says No code changed.

Hover a label, or focus it with the keyboard, to preview the block’s code. Click a label to open its waypoint in the Code Walkthrough. A block with no waypoint has a label you can’t click.
